Ryan Burke
Lead Firearms Instructor
Ryan Burke is the Founder and President of CornerStone Protective Services and serves as the company’s lead firearms instructor and operational leader. With decades of experience spanning military service, executive protection, private security, firearms instruction, and high profile event security, Ryan has built CornerStone on the principles of professionalism, discipline, integrity, and preparedness.
A decorated United States Air Force Security Forces veteran, Ryan has supported domestic and international operations while developing extensive experience in protective services, risk management, firearms training, and leadership. Throughout his career he has provided security for major events, executive clients, and high profile individuals while mentoring the next generation of security professionals.
Ryan holds multiple Florida security licenses and nationally recognized instructor certifications, allowing him to provide comprehensive training for both new and experienced security officers. His instruction emphasizes safety, confidence, accountability, and practical application through real world scenarios.

FIELD SUPERVISOR & TECHNOLOGY LIAISON
Leon Cutting
Leon Cutting serves as Field Supervisor and Technology Liaison for Cornerstone Protective Services. He oversees field operations, supports client relationships, and helps ensure that security services are delivered with professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
In addition to his operational responsibilities, Leon manages the company’s website, social media platforms, digital communications, and online presence. He works closely with leadership to improve client engagement, streamline operations, and support the company’s continued growth through technology and marketing.
Leon holds a Florida Class D Security Officer License, Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License, and a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License (CWFL). His combination of field experience and technology expertise allows him to bridge operations with modern business solutions, helping Cornerstone provide exceptional service to clients while maintaining a strong and professional brand.
SOUTH OPERATIONS LEAD
Don Donnelly
Security Operations Leader | Licensed Security Instructor | Armed Security | Executive Protection
Don Donnelly is an experienced security professional and operations leader with a strong background in armed security, security supervision, executive protection, VIP protection, commercial security, and high-profile event security.
He has served as Director of Operations for Cornerstone Protective Services since 2021, where he helps oversee multiple security locations, coordinate personnel, manage field operations, and maintain professional security standards. He also serves as a Regional Supervisor for Global Security Services, supporting operations throughout Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.
Don’s professional background includes armed security and leadership experience with First Coast Security, as well as executive protection and armed security assignments involving Audemars Piguet. His experience also includes private security work for the Grammy Awards, where he assisted with escorting nominees throughout event facilities.
Don holds active Florida Class D, Class G, and Class DI licenses. He is also a former firefighter in Maryland and completed Firefighter I training through the University of Maryland.

WEST OPERATIONS LEAD
Elliott Algarin
Elliott brings more than 15 years of experience in the firearms industry, having worked in the field since 2009. He currently serves as General Manager of Cole’s Gun Shop, where he oversees daily operations and brings extensive hands-on knowledge of firearms, safety, maintenance, and customer service.
In addition to his management experience, Elliott is a certified Glock, Smith & Wesson, and IWI Armorer, giving him specialized technical training across several major firearm platforms. He also works part-time as an armed security professional with Arms Security Corporation, adding real-world security experience to his firearms background.
With a career built around firearms, professional responsibility, and security, Elliott brings valuable industry knowledge and practical experience to the Cornerstone Protective Services team.
